Chaos Infested Craters

Needing to paint up some terrain for the Rumble in Richmond, I grabbed all of my craters and enlisted the help of my Chaos loving son. He made some suggestions and I ran with it. This then is the result of an Ork lover and a Chaos Demon Lowurd pinting simple craters.

I like the "glowing" centres they have, kind of a necron feel going on. Which is an odd thing to say about rock lol.

I was also going to say they would work well for necrons.

You could use them for Chaos too no problem, my first thought was just necrons.

The colors definiitely lend towards Necrons and Chaos. I just said Chaos as that's the Army my son plays.

Add some chaos-y bits (i.e. spikey things and skulls)!

I like them, just hope that the battle field works, otherwise i think they would stand out alot, took make them more chaos how about a big pile of skulls in the middel ?
