I'm pleased you've decided you may want to help, Art. Your Fiction for the MFC thus far has been great, so I've no worries as to what you'll do. ^^

Friend, Foe, or just Strangers

by Artsoldier35 on 12-07-2010 at 02:00 PM
What would it take for you to invite three total strangers to your house? Feed them, let them crash, entertain them? If they were just three random people you met on the street, would you do the same? Probably not but would they be any safer than three people you know from written words over the internet? My hat goes off to Captain Kellen for taking a chance on three people whom he had never met before (He had met Consadine once) and opened his home to them for a grand weekend of Warhammer 40K

Midnight Madness

by Artsoldier35 on 06-06-2010 at 01:25 PM
Hello all. From a recent post you may all know that I enjoy going to my LGS due to the great team and good gaming atmosphere and that recently they extended their hours. Well, this past Friday they had their first midnight madness. They were going to stay open until midnight for a more "older generation" friendly atmosphere. A single APOC game was organized and limited to 6 vs 6 2K armies. i of course was bringing my Orks and went with a Mek Mech Heavy list. I had my base kitted

Is your LGS cool?

by Artsoldier35 on 23-05-2010 at 12:49 PM
Hello all,

I just found out that my LGS is really cool and customer friendly. Here's why. In response to some of the veteran players/ older player's concerns, my LGS has extended their hours. Their normal hours were 12-7:30pm. They are now going to remain open even during the week until 9pm so that those of us who work for a living will actually have time to go and play a decent game and not get pushed out the door before finishing the game. In addition to that, the first Friday

Raising a competitive son

by Artsoldier35 on 17-05-2010 at 02:31 PM
I have a competitive son who doesn't like to lose. In fact he hates losing so much he ends up psyching himself out even before he plays. Yesterday he asked me to play a 500 pt game so he could get used to his new Chaos Space marine army. Now, a little bit of history is in order here. He has gone from Spcae Marines to Orks to, now, CSM. At the same time, I have played and built my Ork army. Being a little bit older I have already learned some of the little nuances of the game and try to pass

Whhheeeeeeewwwwww!

by Artsoldier35 on 09-05-2010 at 11:47 PM
Hello again. This is my second Blog entry and as I said before I am only going to post when I have something relevent to say. Toward the end of last year one of the members here had an idea for a contest. Who knows why Dim wanted to do it other than to see what everyone on this site could come up with. He even unselfishly dedicated his own money towards prizes. I am a bit ashamed to say that when I saw that there were prizes involved, I got super excited at the prospect of winning stuff. To
