RoF - Reinforcements

I haven't made it a huge secret about my interest in the RoF fleet for Dystopian Wars, and recently I got to see some of the upcoming releases for their fleet forces...

The Couronne Class Carrier

The Bretagne Class Cruiser

The Lyon Class Frigate (such a cute little guy):

The Furieux Class Medium Flyer

The Voltaire Class Bomber

Some interesting designs, nice to see there will be some aerial escorts for the battle ship. The medium flyer is interesting as well, I had thought there wouldn't be any real capital class vehicles in the Air Force because the Navy was up there flying around, but it looks like both the Navy and the Air Force will have large flying things!

French Fleet gets released in March!

For 50 bucks here is what you get:

Considering the Battleship alone already costs 25 bucks it looks like an awesome deal to me. Add in the carrier once it gets released and you are set. Flying battleships, I <3 this.

The Republique of France have held a special place in my heart since I first saw their flying battleships. Now they have had their new models shipped to locations across the world and ill be picking up my starter fleet next week. One thing bothered me, will the French get a dreadnought or will they rely on their tricky flying pocket battleships and air supremacy? Reading the rules of Dystopian Wars it has become fairly clear to me that this is a slug fest game and trickery is probably not going to be enough. Enter the Charlemagne Class:

The best way to describe it is 'freakishly large', while I am not quite certain if I will get one for my fleet or not - I can at least say that Spartan Games is doing their best to get out models for new factions as quickly as possible. How long did we wait for Thunder Wolves again....
